Boat Construction Janousek
Outcome Four capsized in winds while spinning. All OK in the end
Description Experienced coxed four out in sheltered section of river. Winds increased through outing, turned corner to bad conditions, so decided to spin and return home. Effects of wind and stream tipped boat to a point where water started pouring over the sides, and it overturned.

All four rowers and cox waded to the bank and pulled the boat ashore. A passing VIII stopped and collected the people, leaving four dry rowers to sort the boat out.
