Description Chaotic situation when race preparations overtaken by forecast bad weather, causing cancellation with most crews afloatAt least one crew in a non-buoyant boat was swamped and sank. One janousek swamped, swept under Putney Pier & damaged. Others swamped & beached. A swamped Janousek was rowed to safety.
