Outcome Rescued after 30 minutes in the water. Experts estimated they were only 10 mins away from “total disaster”. 
Description 2 Girls’ eights swamped by sudden storm, clung to upturned boats, rescue took 30 mins & outcome would have been serious if water colder or rescue further delayed
